A1 BOXING GLOVES HOOK & LOOP
DESCRIPTION
AOKA’s A1 Boxing Gloves are crafted from top-grain leather and treated three times with a proprietary blend of oils for an exceptionally plush, broken-in feel right out of the bag. The leather of each pair is lined with a layer of neoprene and fortified with anti-bacterial technology to preserve its integrity and longevity, even through the most demanding training conditions.
The glove’s seams are reinforced with a rolled welting, both preventing tears and concealing exposed leather edges. All palms are sewn with a double-needle machine, ensuring perfectly parallel stitching throughout. A silky-soft satin lines the hand compartment, which culminates in a neoprene fingertip pad for added comfort.
The A1 padding consists of a Polyurethane knuckle pad combined with an outer layer of natural latex, a 100% natural material that provides a more supple impact surface than its synthetic counterpart. The layers combine to deliver the perfect balance of pop and protection, ideal for sparring, mitts or bagwork.
Meticulous stitching, balanced padding distribution, and AOKA’s signature wrist support deliver a glove that feels as good as it performs. Built for fighters who see the sport as both a discipline and a form of expression.

COMPOSITION + CARE
Air Dry After Each Use:
Wipe down the exterior with a clean, dry cloth and allow gloves to air dry fully in a cool, ventilated space. Never store them in a sealed gym bag while damp.
Avoid Excessive Moisture:
The anti-bacterial coating helps resist moisture, but prolonged dampness can still harm the leather. Keep gloves away from direct heat or sunlight when drying.
Leather Conditioning (Optional):
Apply a small amount of quality leather conditioner every few months to maintain softness and flexibility.
Interior Maintenance:
Use glove deodorizers or silica packs between sessions to help absorb residual moisture and maintain freshness.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry area with consistent airflow. Avoid humid spaces or direct contact with other damp gear.
